6th EUACI Steering Committee Meeting approves programme’s work plan and budget for 2019-2020

On 22 May, Steering Committee of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative gathered in Kyiv for its 6th meeting to review the overall implementation progress, approve revised work-plan and budget for 2019-2020.

Ambassador of Denmark to Ukraine Mr. Ruben Madsen and the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Mr.Oleksandr Saienko lead this year’s first Steering Committee Other participants of the meeting included representatives of EUACI, EU Delegation to Ukraine, representatives of Ukraine’s anti-corruption bodies, head of the Regional Press Development Institute and Deputy Mayor of Mariupol.

Steering Committee voted to approve the updated Annual Work Plan and Budget of the Programme for 2019-2020 after a thorough review of the Quarterly Progress Report and discussion of the revisions to the Programme’s annual plan and budget presented by EUACI Head Ms. Eka Tkeshelashvili.

Steering Committee of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative provides a mechanism for the joint decision-making on the Programme implementation. Steering Committee consists of the representatives of the Royal Danish Embassy to Ukraine, EU Delegation to Ukraine and heads of key Programme beneficiaries: National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC), Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecution office (SAPO), National Agency of Corruption Prevention (NACP), State Service of Financial Monitoring of Ukraine (SFMS), Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), and others.
