According to the results of the ‘National Omnibus’ survey, most of the Ukrainian citizens consider the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine as the most effective state agency in the field of fighting corruption.
In particular, during the survey 31.7% of respondents replied that among government authorities, NABU is the best in performing anti-corruption function. According to the results of the survey, the other agencies have the following results: General Prosecutor`s Office of Ukraine – 16%, Security Service of Ukraine – 14.9%, Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office – 12.3%, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine – 6.7%.
In its turn, NABU is convinced that after the establishment of High Anti-Corruption Court the fight against corruption in Ukraine will be strengthened, and the final decisions in proceedings on corruption crimes of the top officials will be made.
The National Omnibus survey was conducted in October 2018 by the Active Group Research and Communication Centre.
